<p>Valentino Rossi on MotoGP and Inter: "Bagnaia will win again, Chivu did a great job."</p>

"Winning the Indianapolis 8 Hours was fantastic. I returned 10 years after the last MotoGP race there. We were competitive, it was an incredible race, it started to rain heavily, it was a great feeling." Interviewed by Sky Sport, Valentino Rossi recounted the joy shared with van der Linde and Weerts on the legendary track where he had already celebrated in 2008 on board the Yamaha . "It was 2008, the first year the race was held there, it had started to rain heavily then too, and he managed to win after a battle with Hayden," recalls the Doctor, who at 46 has no desire to retire. "I like racing; it gives me pleasure, it's always been my passion. In my mind, after MotoGP, I wanted to race cars. Physically, it's easier, so even though I'm older, I can still compete at a good level. What still drives me? Passion, fun, striving to improve, the adrenaline of racing: once you get used to them, you struggle to do without them."

Regarding the current MotoGP season, Rossi focuses on Bagnaia 's performance : "Pecco has always fought for the World Championship in the last three years, winning two and losing one in the final race. He's proven his worth. This year he's struggled a bit, but we're trying to stay close to him and help him as much as possible to get him back up there, which is where he deserves to be. For a combination of reasons, he hasn't gotten along well with the new Ducati; he's started to struggle a bit, and he's been paired with an awkward and fast teammate like Marquez. It's a difficult time, but we're trying to figure out how to resolve things. We haven't quite figured it out yet, we don't understand what's happening, but I'm convinced Pecco will be back fighting for wins." Among other Academy products, Bezzecchi is doing great: "He's had a fantastic season so far."

"Chivu is doing a great job"

He then closes with his other great passion, Inter : "Last season was positive but with a dramatic ending, we lost everything we were competing for and Inzaghi also left. We were all worried. Then Chivu arrived, who was a fantastic player: at the beginning it went quite well and after a few games of running in the team started to click. He's doing a great job, we can do well this year too." And on the next match against Napoli : "We have to get revenge for last year, because they beat us. It would be nice to win."
